Free Tourist Visas for Nationals of 40 Selected Countries

The Government of Sri Lanka has announced the extension of the free tourist visa (ETA) scheme to nationals of 40 selected countries, effective from 25 May 2026. Under this initiative, eligible travellers may obtain a 30-day tourist visa free of charge through the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system.
